Privacy Policy

Augustin Insights LLC is a Florida limited liability company based in Miami, Florida. We provide financial coaching to households and, as a separate service, business advisory to business owners, online throughout the United States. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy does not cover the websites or services of companies we work with, such as Monarch, Stripe and Calendly. Each has its own privacy policy.

Information You Give Us

• Contact and identity details: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the names of household members who join your sessions.
• Financial information you choose to share: balances and transactions viewed through Monarch, pay stubs, bills, statements, debts, savings goals and the circumstances you describe to us. For Build & Grow clients, business records such as bookkeeping reports, bank and card statements, receivables and payables.
• Communications: emails, text messages, notes from sessions, and anything else you send us.

Information Collected by Our Service Providers

• Payments are collected and stored by Stripe. We receive only limited details, such as your name, email address, billing postal code, card brand, the last four digits and payment status. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
• Scheduling details are collected by Calendly when you book a session.
• Connected accounts are held by Monarch under your own Monarch account. We see only what you choose to share with us.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, our hosting provider, site software and analytics tools collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, approximate location based on your IP address, and the date and time of your visit, using cookies and similar technologies.

Information We Do Not Want

We will never ask for, and you should never send, a password, a full card or account number, or a Social Security number. If one reaches us by mistake, we delete it.

• To provide the services you request: preparing your Financial Report, Client Pages, plan workbook, reviews and reports, and conducting sessions.
• To schedule sessions and send confirmations, reminders and onboarding instructions.
• To bill you on the schedule you selected and keep accounting records.
• To respond to your questions and requests.
• To operate, secure and improve our website and services, and to prevent fraud.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
• For any other purpose with your consent.

We do not use your financial information for advertising, we do not sell personal information, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

We share personal information only in these situations:

• Service providers that help us deliver our work, under agreements that limit how they use your information: Stripe (payments), Calendly (scheduling), Monarch (the account connection you control), our email, document storage and video meeting providers, our website host and analytics provider, and professional advisers such as our accountant or attorney.
• People you authorize, such as a spouse or partner you invite to your sessions.
• Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, a subpoena or a court order; to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, our business or others; or to prevent fraud.
• Business transfers: if Augustin Insights is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

You connect your accounts in your own Monarch account and choose to share your household with us. We see balances and transactions. We never receive your bank usernames or passwords, and we have no ability to move money. You can remove our access inside Monarch at any time. Monarch handles your data under its own privacy policy. Augustin Insights is not affiliated with Monarch and receives no compensation from it.

If you text us, or give us your mobile number and ask us to text you, you agree that we may send text messages about your inquiry, appointments and services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that the site needs to work, and analytics that help us understand how visitors use it. Analytics and other third-party tools may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may not work without them.

Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. Where the law requires it, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request.

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections, two-factor authentication on systems that hold client data, access limited to the people doing your work, and no client financial documents on shared or public devices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you, and any authorities the law requires, without unreasonable delay and within the time the law allows.

We keep personal information for as long as our engagement lasts, and afterward only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy or as the law requires. Billing and tax records are typically kept for seven years. Working files such as statements and reports are deleted or returned on request when an engagement ends, unless the law requires us to keep them. When an engagement ends, we ask you to remove our access in Monarch, and we stop viewing your accounts.

Wherever you live, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• delete your information, except records the law requires us to keep;
• stop sending you marketing emails, using the unsubscribe link or by writing to us;
• withdraw any consent you have given, including for text messages.

You can also remove our access in Monarch at any time, and cancel Stay on Track before any payment. Build & Grow follows the term in its agreement. To make a request, write to support@augustininsights.net. We confirm your identity before acting, respond within ten business days where we can and within 45 days in every case, and never treat you differently for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent with your written permission. If we decline a request, we explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision; we answer appeals within 45 days.

Residents of some states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others with consumer privacy laws, may have additional rights, such as the right to know the categories of personal information collected, used and disclosed, and the right to opt out of sales or targeted advertising. We extend the rights in section 10 to every client. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

California residents may ask about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we make no such disclosures. Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information.

The financial information you share with us is nonpublic personal information. We do not disclose it to companies outside Augustin Insights except to provide the services you request, as permitted or required by law, or with your consent, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Our services are for adults, and our website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we do not provide services to anyone under 18. Information a client shares about their own dependents for planning is protected under this policy. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our website links to other sites and services, including Stripe checkout, Calendly and Monarch. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read.

Our services are intended for people in the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will notify current clients by email before it takes effect.
